Happy New Year everybody!
Hey, check this out… my old band from the 90’s got played as segue music on NPR recently:
Syrup USA on Marketplace 12/17/2009 by Hidden Driveways
It’s from the December 17th airing of Marketplace. I guess the music editor there felt that our music really suited the “new face of homelessness.” Joking aside, this is really awesome. It just goes to show you that once you finish a piece of music, that it takes on its own little life. This song is from a live radio show (WMBR’s Pipeline) and it was released on a compilation CD in 1996. 13 years later our song makes it’s way onto National Public Radio. Keep the dream alive, people!
